Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry Hospice Unit position, requiring an active GA or compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months' experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Hospice Unit specializing in telemetry
• Night shifts with 12-hour schedule
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call responsibilities
• Responsibilities include providing telemetry care to hospice patients within an interdisciplinary team
• Holiday time off requests are limited to a maximum of three days if falling on or near a holiday, or five days otherwise
• Only one holiday off request is allowed per contract
• Requests for several consecutive days off during holidays will not be approved and must be spread out

Requirements

• Active Georgia or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum of 18 months RN experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Former permanent staff at this health system must be separated for at least 1 year, and 18 months if returning to the same facility
