Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced MRI Technologist for night shifts, requiring 2 years of recent MRI experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work in a radiology department with a focus on MRI imaging
• Night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Must have experience with Epic EMR
• No local candidates accepted from counties within a 50-mile radius, including Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• More than three call outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination, and missed shifts must be made up within six weeks
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
• Competency testing required as designated by the department
• Travelers may only apply to one position at this facility
• Travel pairs are not allowed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an MRI Technologist
• Active NYS license required for consideration
• Certifications from AHA or RQI are required
• Epic EMR experience is required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the last 12 months
• US Social Security Number required (Canadian SIN not accepted)
• Medical flu exemption accepted only with signed documentation from a licensed professional
• License required if applicable
