Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg and OB night shift position requiring a KS or compact RN license and L&D patient management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting on a combined Med/Surg and OB unit
• Approximately 80% Med/Surg and 20% OB patient population
• Night shift, 3x12 hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:00
• Travelers may float to different units as needed
• No call required
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Main responsibilities include providing nursing care for Med/Surg and OB patients
• Travel pairs are accepted for this assignment
• Mandatory orientation modules to be completed during orientation and annually
• No specific EMR experience required
• No restrictions for local candidates based on distance

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Must have experience managing L&D (Labor and Delivery) patients
• One professional reference required
