Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a MA license and large hospital background for a travel assignment with call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a large hospital setting
• Day shifts are 12 hours, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Call required three times per month, including overnight and 12-hour weekend shifts
• Opportunity to participate in most OR services with a focus on transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases
• Uses Epic EMR with prior Epic experience required
• Must be comfortable handling a wide variety of OR procedures independently, especially in complex specialties
• Call responsibility includes a mix of overnight and daytime shifts as assigned
• Passing tele/ECG and medication tests may be required
• Scrub color and uniform requirements will be provided upon assignment
• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• Medical exemption allowed for required vaccinations
• Pay-for-parking may apply in Boston

Requirements

• Active MA RN license in hand
• Significant large hospital Operating Room experience required
• Ability to independently circulate on transplant, cardiac, and vascular surgical cases
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and other required credentials
• Epic charting experience required
• COVID-19 vaccine with booster and flu vaccination required unless medically exempt
• No local candidates within 50 miles accepted
• Must be separated from BILH employment for at least 6 months prior to consideration
