Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Echo/Cardiac/Vascular Sonographer for a day shift position requiring ARDMS or CCI credentials and vascular imaging expertise.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting within the cardiovascular imaging department
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with every other holiday required
• Night, weekend, and holiday call responsibilities to be discussed during the interview
• Adult vascular and cardiac patient population
• Procedures include ABIs (segmental and exercise), lower and upper extremity arterial/venous, carotid, and abdominal aorta studies
• Uses GE Logiq E10 ultrasound equipment
• EPIC is the EMR used
• Responsibilities include performing a variety of vascular and cardiac ultrasound procedures such as ABIs, arterial and venous studies, and abdominal aorta imaging
• Work at a Level III trauma center with a 110-bed capacity
• Charcoal grey scrubs are required
• Night, weekend, and holiday call details will be clarified during the interview

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent echo and vascular sonography experience
• Completion of a two-year allied, patient-related healthcare program (such as sonography, radiology, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, or RN)
• ARDMS - RDCS or RCS certification, plus RVT or RVS required
• BLS certification required; will accept pending but must be obtained before start date
• Proficiency with GE Logiq E10 ultrasound equipment
• Previous experience with both ECHO and vascular imaging required
• Traveler’s permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the central facility for eligibility
• License required if applicable
