Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Colon and Rectal Surgery Clinic position requiring an active MA RN license and ambulatory care experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an outpatient clinic setting specializing in colon and rectal surgery
• Support the cancer program and multiple outpatient clinics
• Day shifts available: 10-hour (8:00am-6:30pm) or 8-hour days
• Division includes 4 surgeons, 2 NPs, and 3 RNs
• Triage patient calls and provide navigation support as needed
• Position does not accept local candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius
• Primary responsibilities include triaging patient calls and supporting colorectal cancer care in a multidisciplinary team
• Orientation is provided weekly on Mondays, except holidays
• Successful completion of Tele/ECG and Medication testing may be required at select campuses
• Parking at the work site may cost up to $43 per day, with public transport options available
• All requests for time off must be submitted with initial application

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required at the time of consideration
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• 2-3 years of RN experience in an ambulatory or related clinical setting required
• Experience with colorectal cancer or navigation services preferred
• Basic computer proficiency required
• Experience in a teaching hospital and relevant specialty area preferred
• Flu vaccine required prior to start
• COVID-19 vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions allowed)
• Candidates must not have been employed at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility in the last 6 months
