Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for diagnostic imaging with experience in OR, ER, and bedside imaging and strong c-arm and pain injection skills.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a diagnostic radiology department covering OR, ER, and bedside imaging
- Day shifts, Sun-Thurs, typically 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with potential start times at 7:00, 7:30, or 8:00 AM
- Role involves supporting pain treatment procedures with fluoro imaging of the spine and joints
- Techs will set up and break down kits and medications used for injections
- Candidates will use c-arms and must be experienced with pain center procedures
- Primary duties include assisting pain physicians with fluoroscopy-guided procedures and performing diagnostic imaging in various departments
- Weekly orientation is provided every Monday except holidays
- Pass/fail tests may be required at some campuses (e.g., Tele/ECG, Medication Test)
- COVID vaccine with booster and flu vaccination are required; medical exemptions are permitted
- All requests for time off (RTO) must be presented during consideration
- Parking may cost up to $43 per day in certain locations
Requirements
- Vocational or technical training in Medical Radiography is required
- At least 2 years of related work experience is required
- MA RadTech-Radiography license required if applicable
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required
- BLS certification required
- Advanced computer skills relevant to technical support in imaging
- No candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will be considered
- All previous employees must have a minimum 6-month break before returning
