Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Float Pool Med/Surg Telemetry role requiring Epic experience and a NH or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Float Pool assignment in a 100-bed acute care hospital
• Primarily serves medical-surgical telemetry patient populations
• Works 12-hour day shifts
• Duration is 13 weeks
• Epic EMR experience required
• Provides nursing care to a variety of medical-surgical telemetry patients as assigned by the Float Pool
• Required to attend biweekly orientation sessions
• Previous employees must observe a 6-month break before returning to the facility
• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• RTO (requested time off) must be documented and submitted at time of application

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Must meet facility vaccination requirements: COVID vaccine with booster and Flu (medical exemptions allowed)
• Required to pass Tele/ECG and Medication testing modules
