Job Description

American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with ASHA certification and 2+ years of experience for an inpatient rehab assignment with emergency response duties.

Responsibilities

Position is in an inpatient rehabilitation unit within an academic medical center
Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Day shift with five 8-hour shifts per week
No local travelers accepted; candidates must live at least 65 miles away
May be assigned to an Emergency Team during critical events and required to stay at facility as needed
Unit accepts first-time travelers
Emergency response responsibilities may require staying onsite or assisting as part of a relief team
Requested time off (RTO) must be included in your profile and discussed during the interview
All certifications must be AHA approved

Requirements

Current Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA)
Active Louisiana SLP license required; allow 3-4 weeks for processing if needed
Minimum of 2 years of SLP experience
Modified Barium Swallow Study certification preferred
License required if applicable
