Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with neuro and cardiac experience, BLS, ARRT, and VA licensure for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in an interventional radiology department
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 5x8 hour shifts per week
• 1 to 2 call shifts per week, plus 1 call weekend per month
• Neuro and cardiac interventional cases
• Floating may be required based on clinical experience
• Epic EMR experience needed if assigned to float pool or inpatient units
• Role involves supporting neuro and cardiac interventional radiology procedures
• Must communicate vacation plans between sign date and start date
• Minimum 12 months must pass before returning as a traveler to this location
• Background check disclosures should be communicated
• Up to 40 hours of RTO per 13-week contract is permitted

Requirements

• Active VA radiologic technologist license required; applicants with a current license in another state may be considered if VA licensure is pending
• BLS and ARRT certifications required
• Neuro experience required
• Experience in both circulating and scrubbing in interventional radiology cases required
• Two professional references needed for consideration
• Copy of required certifications, driver's license, and Social Security card must be provided
• License required if applicable
