Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with neuro and cardiac experience, BLS, ARRT, and VA licensure for a day shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in an interventional radiology department
- Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 5x8 hour shifts per week
- 1 to 2 call shifts per week, plus 1 call weekend per month
- Neuro and cardiac interventional cases
- Floating may be required based on clinical experience
- Epic EMR experience needed if assigned to float pool or inpatient units
- Role involves supporting neuro and cardiac interventional radiology procedures
- Must communicate vacation plans between sign date and start date
- Minimum 12 months must pass before returning as a traveler to this location
- Background check disclosures should be communicated
- Up to 40 hours of RTO per 13-week contract is permitted
Requirements
- Active VA radiologic technologist license required; applicants with a current license in another state may be considered if VA licensure is pending
- BLS and ARRT certifications required
- Neuro experience required
- Experience in both circulating and scrubbing in interventional radiology cases required
- Two professional references needed for consideration
- Copy of required certifications, driver's license, and Social Security card must be provided
- License required if applicable
