Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring PICU experience and the ability to float to NICU and Peds units.

Responsibilities

Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a hospital setting
Patient population includes those with respiratory distress/failure, DKA, seizures, and requiring pain management
Perform moderate sedation, manage drips, arterial lines, and central lines/CVP
Rotating shift with day (3x12 hrs, 7:00-19:00) and night (3x12 hrs, 19:30-7:30) schedules
Must be able to float to NICU and Pediatric units as needed
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Provide critical care nursing for pediatric patients with acute and complex conditions
Team members expected to manage advanced therapies and monitoring modalities
Two professional references are required for consideration

Requirements

Active MD or Compact RN license
Minimum of 2 years of PICU nursing experience
Current BCLS and PALS certifications required
