Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience and ARRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Interventional Radiology department
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 6:00pm, with a rotating day off
• On-call duties include one primary and one backup weekday per month, plus one weekend every 6 weeks (alternating primary or backup)
• Utilize Siemens imaging equipment for all procedures
• Patient documentation is managed using the Epic EMR system, with previous Epic experience preferred
• Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient comfort and safety
• Former employees are eligible if separated from the facility for at least 6 months
• Current employees at any Ohio State University hospital location are not eligible for this travel position
• Locals are accepted for this travel assignment at the same rate
• Time off requests must be submitted prior to contract and included in the contract
• Urgent fingerprinting process is required for all candidates

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology (will consider candidates with 1 year of experience)
• Current ARRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in operating Siemens imaging equipment is essential
• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred
• Two professional references are required, with at least one from a manager, director, or charge RN
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• License required if applicable
