Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift MICU position requiring an active AL or compact RN license and at least 2 years of ICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) setting
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment length
- Patient care involves critical care adult population
- Uses Meditech EMR system
- Orientation hours are provided at the start of the contract
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rates without mileage restrictions
- All ICU RNs must complete both virtual orientation and competency-based modules
- A cardiac exam must be completed within the specified timeframe after offer acceptance
- Timekeeping for this assignment is managed via Centricity
Requirements
- Active AL or compact RN license in good standing with no past or current disciplinary actions
- Minimum of 2 years' RN experience, including at least 1 year of recent MICU/ICU experience
- No pending or temporary licenses accepted
- On-site testing and online pre-test required prior to starting
