Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in Ohio requiring an OH or compact RN license, EPIC experience, and proficiency in telemetry.

Responsibilities

Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
Night shifts with a schedule of 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Required to float to units of equal or lower acuity
Candidates must have experience monitoring telemetry patients
Responsibilities include IV starts, general nursing skills, medication administration, labs, and patient education

Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license
Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience
Current BLS certification is required
IV certification required
Must be able to pass a telemetry test
EPIC EMR experience required
Ability to effectively start IVs, monitor and educate patients, administer medications, and manage labs
