Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital day shift role with a requirement of at least 2 years' recent experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

Position is based in a short-term acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma Center
Work in the acute care PT unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
No floating between units required
No on-call or weekend shifts required
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Epic EMR is used and experience is required
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and live more than 50 miles from the facility
All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state if needed
Minimal to no time off is permitted; extensive requests may impact consideration
Professional attire is required, adhering to the department dress code of solid navy blue scrubs for licensed staff
Free parking is available in any unrestricted surface lot
All time off or special scheduling requests must be disclosed during the application process

Requirements

Current Physical Therapist license required if applicable
Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care PT experience required
Ability to provide at least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of work within the last 3 years in a comparable setting
Experience using Epic EMR is required
Required documents include SS card and driver’s license
