Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced PCU Float Registered Nurse with day shift availability, Epic experience, and an active OH or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in the PCU Float Pool within a hospital setting
Float to any stepdown/PCU area, with potential to float to other campuses including heart, brain & spine, and rehabilitation units
Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30
Estimated patient ratios of 1:3–4
May be required to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity
No requested time off (RTO) approved from 2/15/26 through 2/28/26
Responsibilities include providing care to a variety of progressive care and stepdown patients
May float between multiple campuses as staffing needs require
First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license required
Minimum of 2 years of PCU or stepdown nursing experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience with IV starts and telemetry nursing required
Epic EMR experience required
