Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool ICU position requiring proficiency with EPIC and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

Float between multiple ICU units including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, and NCCU
Work night shifts, 3x12 hours per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Assignment is part of the Critical Care Float Pool with flexibility based on unit staffing and acuity needs
Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
Weekend shifts are required as part of the night shift schedule
Must not request time off between 2/15/26 and 2/28/26
Role involves adapting to various ICU environments and patient populations in a large hospital setting

Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license
Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system required
Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management required
Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
