Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of pediatric and GE MRI system experience for a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a children's hospital Level I Pediatric Trauma Center exclusively with pediatric patients
• MRI unit utilizes GE MRI systems
• 3x12 hour day shifts: Saturday-Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Weekend shifts required as needed
• Cerner EMR is preferred
• All RTO must be included at time of consideration
• No local candidates accepted; must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• Potential for floating within the clinical scope, though floating between campuses is rare
• Must be willing to work end-of-year holidays per assignment requirements
• Returning employees must have a separation period of at least one year to be eligible
• Candidates must be able to provide proof of vaccinations if requested
• Candidates who have previously worked at the facility should confirm eligibility before applying

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience with pediatric patient population
• ARRT certification required
• Proficient with GE MRI systems
• Valid driver’s license required for consideration
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• No first-time travelers; must have at least one completed travel assignment
• Active license required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted
