Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry float position on night shifts, requiring a ME or compact RN license and at least two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting within the Nursing Float department
• Position covers medical-surgical telemetry units as needed
• Night shift schedule is 18:45 to 07:15
• Float policy allows for assignment to facilities within a 25-mile radius
• No travel pairs or groups permitted
• Candidates classified as local (within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility and residing in ME or NH) may be subject to different pay rates
• Responsibility to float between units and facilities as patient needs require
• No extensions or renewals for local travelers
• All assignment onboarding documents must be completed prior to start date

Requirements

• Active ME or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Must provide a current driver’s license
• Returning employees must not have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months to be eligible
