Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN for a recovery room role requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications with alternating 10 and 12 hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

Work in the recovery room (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) of a hospital
Alternating weekly 10-hour and 12-hour day shifts starting at 6:45 AM
No on-call responsibilities required
Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to surgical patients in the recovery unit
Work as part of a clinical nursing team with support from hospital staff
Must be clinically competent as defined by current nursing practice standards

Requirements

Active NC or compact RN license required
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience working in PACU or recovery room nursing strongly preferred
