Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a PA or compact license, ACLS/BLS certification, and EPIC experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an invasive Cardiology department with 4 Cardiac Cath Labs and 2 Electrophysiology labs
• Unit features 23 prep/recovery bays and completes over 6,000 procedures annually
• Patient population includes individuals undergoing complex coronary, structural heart, electrophysiology, and peripheral interventions
• Day shift position with four 10-hour shifts per week, typically between 6:00 AM and 4:30 PM
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
• Minimal call required, primarily to assist full-time staff until last patient is cared for
• Uses Epic EMR; experience required
• Responsibilities include supporting a full spectrum of complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including TAVR, VAD/ECMO, pacemaker and ICD implants, ablations, and more
• May care for COVID patients as part of the unit responsibilities
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
• Pre-assignment modules must be completed prior to start and take approximately 5-6 hours
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed during contract
• Local candidates (within 50 miles) will be considered with adjusted compensation
• Interview and clinical fit assessment are part of the selection process

Requirements

• Active PA or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Experience with the Epic EMR system required
• No disciplinary actions or license hits accepted
