Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of skilled home health experience and BCLS certification for a home health position in East Portland, OR.
Responsibilities
- Home health setting covering East Portland and surrounding areas
- Day shift schedule with 8-hour shifts, 8:00-16:30, five days per week
- Patient ratio is 1:1 with up to 6 visits per day and 30 productivity points as standard
- No call, weekends, or floating to like units required
- Travel is necessary, with occasional drive times up to 60 miles or 60-90 minutes per day
- Epic is used for documentation through Remote Client and Rover app; Oasis documentation experience preferred
- Mileage reimbursement provided at IRS standard rate
- Responsibilities include delivering physical therapy services to home health clients with a focus on productivity and quality outcomes
- All travelers must be willing to float between all facilities within the state if required
- Business casual attire is required; scrubs permitted but not mandatory
- Free parking provided
- First-time travelers are accepted for this role
- Locals within 50-75 miles are accepted at the same rate
- Returning employees must have a break of at least 3 months and reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal to no RTO is allowed; any requests for time off must be confirmed with hiring manager prior to submittal
- Pre-assignment modules are required and must be completed prior to start
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent skilled home health experience required
- Current BCLS certification required
- OASIS documentation experience required or must be clearly indicated if lacking
- Epic EMR experience recommended
- Ability to provide two recent supervisory references within the specialty
- Primary series COVID vaccination plus one booster required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- License required if applicable
