Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of skilled home health experience and BCLS certification for a home health position in East Portland, OR.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting covering East Portland and surrounding areas
• Day shift schedule with 8-hour shifts, 8:00-16:30, five days per week
• Patient ratio is 1:1 with up to 6 visits per day and 30 productivity points as standard
• No call, weekends, or floating to like units required
• Travel is necessary, with occasional drive times up to 60 miles or 60-90 minutes per day
• Epic is used for documentation through Remote Client and Rover app; Oasis documentation experience preferred
• Mileage reimbursement provided at IRS standard rate
• Responsibilities include delivering physical therapy services to home health clients with a focus on productivity and quality outcomes
• All travelers must be willing to float between all facilities within the state if required
• Business casual attire is required; scrubs permitted but not mandatory
• Free parking provided
• First-time travelers are accepted for this role
• Locals within 50-75 miles are accepted at the same rate
• Returning employees must have a break of at least 3 months and reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Minimal to no RTO is allowed; any requests for time off must be confirmed with hiring manager prior to submittal
• Pre-assignment modules are required and must be completed prior to start

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent skilled home health experience required
• Current BCLS certification required
• OASIS documentation experience required or must be clearly indicated if lacking
• Epic EMR experience recommended
• Ability to provide two recent supervisory references within the specialty
• Primary series COVID vaccination plus one booster required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• License required if applicable
