Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Hospice Float Pool position requiring a GA or compact license and hospice care experience.

Responsibilities

• Work within the Hospice Float Pool setting, providing coverage across multiple teams and territories
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• No on-call responsibilities
• Responsibilities include patient assessments, symptom management, caregiver education, and accurate clinical documentation
• Role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Virtual orientation modules must be completed during the first two days of assignment
• No time off permitted during the first two weeks or orientation
• Must be able to work independently and demonstrate clinical flexibility

Requirements

• Active RN license in GA or compact state
• Previous hospice nursing experience preferred
• Must have reliable transportation
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills are required
