Description

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a home health setting, requiring at least 1 year of skilled home health experience and BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

Home health position serving Medford, OR and surrounding areas
Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 to 16:30
Visits up to 6 patients per day with a productivity standard of 30 points
Patient ratio is 1:1 during visits
Epic and Oasis EMR systems are used, experience with Oasis required
No on-call or weekend shifts required
No floating between like units required
Mileage reimbursement is provided at IRS standard rates
Free parking is available on site
Travelers expected to float between all facilities within the state as needed
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot be within 50 miles of the submitting facility
Minimal to no RTO is allowed; advance manager approval is required for requests
Attire is any color scrubs
Modules must be completed prior to start and annually
Not open to first-time travelers

Requirements

Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
Minimum 1 year of skilled home health OT experience
BCLS certification required
Epic and Oasis documentation experience required
Primary series COVID vaccination plus one booster required
Own reliable transportation is necessary
