Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a home health setting, requiring at least 1 year of skilled home health experience and BCLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Home health position serving Medford, OR and surrounding areas
- Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 to 16:30
- Visits up to 6 patients per day with a productivity standard of 30 points
- Patient ratio is 1:1 during visits
- Epic and Oasis EMR systems are used, experience with Oasis required
- No on-call or weekend shifts required
- No floating between like units required
- Mileage reimbursement is provided at IRS standard rates
- Free parking is available on site
- Travelers expected to float between all facilities within the state as needed
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot be within 50 miles of the submitting facility
- Minimal to no RTO is allowed; advance manager approval is required for requests
- Attire is any color scrubs
- Modules must be completed prior to start and annually
- Not open to first-time travelers
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of skilled home health OT experience
- BCLS certification required
- Epic and Oasis documentation experience required
- Primary series COVID vaccination plus one booster required
- Own reliable transportation is necessary
