Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry role in a hospital pulmonary unit, requiring a GA or compact license and at least 18 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital-based pulmonary telemetry unit
• Patient population includes those with pulmonary and telemetry monitoring needs
• 12-hour night shifts are required
• No on-call responsibilities are associated with this position
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• Previous permanent staff from the health system or facility must be separated for one year prior to returning and 18 months if returning to the same facility
• Approved time off requests are strictly limited to a maximum of five days, or three days if during or near a holiday, with only one holiday off request permitted
• Multiple requests for days off during holidays will not be approved and must be spread out
• Only one position application is allowed at a time

Requirements

• Active RN license in Georgia or compact state required
• Minimum of 18 months prior RN experience required
