Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Neonatal ICU RN with a minimum of 2 years of NICU and prior travel experience, a valid VA or compact RN license, and Epic proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within a hospital setting
- Night shifts are required, working 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
- Care provided to neonatal patient population in a Level III or IV NICU
- Utilizes Epic as the electronic medical record system, and Epic experience is required
- Locals are accepted at the same rate
- May not have been employed at the facility within the previous 6 months
- Smoke-free and drug-free workplace
- Natural nail policy is enforced
- Holiday coverage is required and time off requests must be submitted with profile
- Orientation requires completion of all pre-employment screening, including fingerprinting as applicable
- BSN is preferred but not required
Requirements
- Active VA or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU RN experience
- Prior travel nurse experience is required
- Current certifications in BLS and NRP required
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program (diploma, Associates, or BSN accepted)
- Epic EMR experience required
