Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Missouri requiring at least 2 years of nursing experience and a MO or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Cardiovascular OR focus with surgical case responsibilities
• Day shifts with four 10-hour shifts per week, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
• Call and holiday coverage is required as part of the rotation
• Cerner charting system is used; experience preferred but not required
• Responsibilities include providing perioperative nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room
• Must participate in a fair share of on-call and holiday rotations
• Free onsite CPI Blue Card course available if required
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted during the application process

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience and at least 1 year of OR experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must provide two professional references
• Candidate must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
