Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 4-week long-term care/skilled nursing facility assignment in Minnesota with evening and weekend requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work in a post-acute long-term care and transitional care unit with a total of 45 beds
• Patient assignment ratio is approximately 1 RN to 23 patients
• Common patient population includes LTC/TCU cases
• Primary shifts are evenings (2:30pm-11pm), with day (6:30am-3pm) and night (10:30pm-7am) shifts occasionally available
• 8-hour shifts with every other weekend and rotating holiday coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses PCC as the charting system
• Duties include providing direct care for residents in long-term and transitional care units, managing medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• No on-site orientation is provided
• Position is open to local candidates within 80 miles, with local pay rates applied
• Holiday and every other weekend coverage is required per unit rotation
• No charge differential or on-call available for this assignment

Requirements

• Active Minnesota RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings strongly preferred
