Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in a Level 2 Newborn Nursery, requiring a compact or AZ RN license, BLS, and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care setting within a Level 2 Newborn Nursery
• Night shift position with 12-hour shifts
• Unit handles approximately 900 births per year
• High-acuity newborns are airlifted to a higher-level facility
• Uses Allscripts Sunrise EMR system
• Responsible for providing care to newborn patients in the nursery
• Orientation consists of 8 hours at the start of assignment
• Scrub color or dress code follows facility policy
• No BSN required for this position

Requirements

• Valid AZ or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Current BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications required
• Experience in a Level 2 Nursery or similar setting preferred
