Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit night shift position in Ohio, requiring an OH or compact RN license and EPIC charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital specializing in neurological and spine care
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00–07:30
• Rotating coverage of weeknights, weekends, and holidays required
• Estimated patient ratios are 1:3-4
• Floating to other units within the organization may be required
• Uses EPIC electronic medical record system
• May be required to float to other units within the organization as staffing needs dictate
• Rotating holiday coverage is expected according to unit policy
• Professional work attire or scrubs required as per hospital dress code

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Minimum 2 years of PCU or med-surg nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
