Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN with at least one year of recent acute care experience for a night shift travel contract.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an acute care/medical surgical unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient care on the main hospital unit, floor 1
• Must provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Travelers will not be considered if they were permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past two years
• No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius of the facility

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a Med/Surg or related acute care specialty
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of employment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any Community Health Systems (CHS) facility within the past 2 years are not eligible
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration
