Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring prior charge, travel, and PCU experience as well as a VT or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Med/Surg Tele unit at a facility with a small critical access environment
• Patient population includes those needing telemetry and progressive care
• DRIP management is part of the assignment
• Must be willing to float to any inpatient unit within scope of practice
• Traveler must have their own reliable vehicle
• Previous experience in a small critical access facility preferred
• All scheduling requests must be made prior to consideration; no requests will be accommodated after offer
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
• Permanent home address is required for consideration

Requirements

• Active VT or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required
• At least 3 months of prior travel RN experience required
• Charge RN experience required
• PCU experience strongly required
• Drip experience required
• ICU experience strongly preferred
• Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required
