Job Description
American Traveler seeks an experienced MRI Technologist with a strong background in neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal imaging for a weekend night shift position.
Responsibilities
- Work in an MRI department handling both inpatient and outpatient cases
- Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
- Average caseload of 35–40 MRI studies per day
- Primary imaging focus on oncology cases and advanced neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal imaging
- Procedures include fusion (non-brain), gradient echo, ADC mapping, subtraction, MIP, MRP, perfusion, spectroscopy, spin echo, surface coils, T1 & T2 weighted imaging, and cervical/lumbar/thoracic spine studies
- Utilizes PACS, Siemens equipment, and EPIC for documentation
- 12-hour night shifts, Friday to Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Expect responsibilities including performance of specialized MRI exams, image post-processing, and supporting oncology-focused imaging protocols
- Work with an interdisciplinary team and report using EPIC documentation
- Weekend and night shift work environment
- No 30-day break required between assignments for MRI Techs
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
- Current ARRT and BLS certifications
- Valid Ohio State license required
- Experience in adult ICU, adult outpatient, and pediatric acute care MRI settings
- Proficient in imaging abdominal, pelvis, chest, brain, face/neck, hip/bony pelvis, knee, and shoulder
- Strong familiarity with Siemens MRI equipment and PACS systems
- License required if applicable
