Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position, requiring an active OH or compact license and recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week
• Patient population includes adult med/surg and telemetry cases
• Must work at least every other holiday
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation
• Assessment via PBDS is waived for this role
• Assignment duration cannot exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location
• A minimum 6-month break is required before returning for another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
• Holiday coverage is required every other holiday

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• A minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
• Acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
