Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg travel assignment requiring a compact or MS state license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is on a Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule working from 19:00 to 07:00
• Patient population includes general med/surg adult patients
• Located on main hospital floor 2
• Requests for time off (RTO) must be less than one week
• Returning travelers must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the last 2 years
• Holiday coverage may be required per hospital protocols
• First-time travelers welcome to apply if minimum requirements are met

Requirements

• Active RN license for Mississippi (MS) or Compact state required and must be current
• Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• No certifications may expire within 30 days of the assignment start date
• No employment as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the last 2 years
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no local travelers)
