Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Endovascular position requiring SC or compact licensure and specialized neuro intervention skills.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Neuro Endovascular procedural specialty within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes LVO stroke cases and cerebral aneurysm repairs under the care of an Endovascular trained Neurologist
• Shift is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Call is required every other week
• This is a newly opened department seeking experienced staff
• Provide nursing care for neuro endovascular procedures including sedation management, patient monitoring, and post-procedural care
• Follow safety protocols for infection prevention, medication management, and patient identification
• Complete procedural paperwork and ensure patient education for pre- and post-operative care
• Demonstrate professionalism and effective communication with patients, families, and the medical team
• Maintain patient privacy and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
• Experience in neuro interventions, Cath Lab, or cardiovascular OR circulator roles required
• ICU experience preferred
• Moderate sedation training required
• Primary source verification of licensure mandatory within 30 days of start
