Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient orthopedic role requiring at least 1 year of experience and a BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting
  • Individual treatment rooms surrounding a large gym space
  • One-on-one, 60-minute sessions with no overlapping patients
  • Four 10-hour day shifts per week (two days 7am-5pm, two days 7am-6pm)
  • Epic EMR experience is preferred
  • Return staff must have at least a 1-year break before returning as a traveler
  • Travel pairs are accepted
  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this assignment
  • Local candidates are accepted at a lower rate, subject to a 50-mile radius rule
  • Candidates with latex allergies cannot be accommodated in this environment
  • Professional dress code is required as scrubs are not specified
  • Completion of onboarding modules is required, averaging 3-4 hours during orientation

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient physical therapy experience
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Wisconsin or compact Physical Therapist license preferred
  • License required if applicable
  • Epic EMR experience is preferred
