Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg day shift position requiring Epic experience and at least 2 years of recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Hospital-based Med/Surg unit serving a spinal, neuro trauma, and surgical patient population
- Care for patients including gunshot wounds, quadriplegic and paraplegic cases
- Day shift position with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- Utilizes Epic EMR system; Epic experience required
- Care for high-acuity spinal, neuro trauma, and post-surgical patients
- No RTO (requested time off) allowed during contract
- Resume must include detailed facility names, units, and date ranges for employment
- All employment gaps must be explained in the work history
- Demographic information including badge-appropriate photo must be submitted for consideration
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days
- Two supervisory references from within the last 2 years required
- Skills checklist relevant to Med/Surg specialty required
