Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg day shift position requiring Epic experience and at least 2 years of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Med/Surg unit serving a spinal, neuro trauma, and surgical patient population
• Care for patients including gunshot wounds, quadriplegic and paraplegic cases
• Day shift position with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Utilizes Epic EMR system; Epic experience required
• Care for high-acuity spinal, neuro trauma, and post-surgical patients
• No RTO (requested time off) allowed during contract
• Resume must include detailed facility names, units, and date ranges for employment
• All employment gaps must be explained in the work history
• Demographic information including badge-appropriate photo must be submitted for consideration

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days
• Two supervisory references from within the last 2 years required
• Skills checklist relevant to Med/Surg specialty required
