Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license and strong critical care skills for a night shift position.
Responsibilities
- Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
- Night shifts with three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:30
- May be required to float to other units within scope of practice or to Summit or Herrick campuses, with shuttle transport provided
- Weekend shifts required every other weekend and as needed based on unit staffing
- On-call duties assigned as needed
- Responsible for delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients
- Flexibility with assignment location and floating is necessary
- Only one holiday time-off request will be approved
- Lab work must be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing
Requirements
- Active California RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 3 years of ICU RN experience required
- Must have at least 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
- Returning employees must have been gone at least 1 year before being eligible
