Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract in a high-volume IR unit with Cerner EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work in an interventional radiology unit assisting with sterile procedures in IR and neuro-interventional labs
Caseload averages 10 visits per day
Day shifts, 4x8 hours per week from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Call required every other week from 4 PM to 7 AM and every other weekend for 24 hours per day
No floating required
On call for holidays as needed
Uses Cerner for charting
Will assist with both interventional radiology and neuro-interventional procedures
Scrubs will be provided
First-time travelers are accepted

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
Current license required if applicable
Experience with sterile technique and assisting in IR procedures
Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred
