Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring at least one year of experience and a WI or Compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital
• Care for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures
• Shifts are 4x10 hours on days or evenings (7:00-17:00 or 12:30-23:00)
• On-call required approximately 4-5 times per month with additional weekend call
• Local candidates are accepted
• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for surgical patients
• Must be prepared to respond to calls during scheduled on-call shifts
• Work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Active WI or Compact State RN license required
• Minimum of one year PACU RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• First-time travelers will not be considered
