Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with Siemens MRI system proficiency and required ARRT (MR) and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based MRI department
• Uses Siemens Aera, Skyra, and Sola MRI systems
• Performs neuro, body, musculoskeletal (MSK), and breast MR imaging
• Day shift with 3x12s schedule, Friday to Sunday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Duties include preparing and scanning patients per protocols across neuro, body, MSK, and breast MR exams
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation and require a passing score
• Perm candidates cannot return to assignments at the same health system for one year following their last end date
• Assignments at health system locations are capped at 18 consecutive months, with a required six-month break before return
• References must be from a supervisor, manager, ANM, or director and should be recent

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in MRI specialty required prior to travel
• At least 1 year of MRI tech experience required
• Siemens MRI system experience is required
• Active ARRT (MR) and BLS certifications required
• Must have or be willing to obtain permanent Ohio license at time of consideration; compact licenses accepted if applicable
• Two supervisory references relevant to the specialty required (recent perm and most recent travel if applicable)
• All travelers must be nicotine free and able to pass a 10-panel and cotinine drug screen within 12 months of start
• Initial and agency-required fingerprinting to be completed, with BCI/FBI prints required within 48 hours of contract signing
• License required if applicable
