Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist license and NMTCB or ARRT (R)(N) certification for both diagnostic and cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Position based in a 206-bed community hospital
• Work with adult, geriatric, bariatric, OB, and nursery patient populations
• Day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with potential rotational Saturday call during the day
• Familiarity with standard nuclear medicine instruments and equipment is required
• Uses Sunrise, Syngo, Medicalis, Carestream, and Tele-tracking systems
• Duties include performing all standard nuclear medicine diagnostic and cardiac procedures
• May participate in a rotational Saturday call schedule
• Two professional references from current or previous managers are required for consideration
• Local candidates are accepted within a 60-mile radius at a reduced rate
• Previous employees may require additional review to determine eligibility for rehire

Requirements

• NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist license required; license required if applicable
• NMTCB or ARRT (R)(N) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine required; 2 years strongly preferred
• Experience in both diagnostic and cardiac nuclear medicine procedures strongly preferred
• Knowledge of computer applications relevant to nuclear medicine procedures
