Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position caring for post-op surgical and orthopedic patients, requiring a TX or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
Patient population includes post-operative surgical and orthopedic patients
Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5
Responsible for providing care and monitoring for post-operative and orthopedic patients
Must submit documentation including recent skills checklist, references, and license verification for consideration

Requirements

Active TX or compact RN license is required
Minimum of 2 years current experience in a hospital Med/Surg Tele unit with post-op and orthopedic patients
Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required
Must live at least 100 miles from the facility for consideration
Current, valid Driver’s License is required for address verification
