Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring an active KY or compact RN license and two years of recent IR experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Vascular Radiology department within a hospital setting
- Day shift, scheduled from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm
- 13-week assignment
- Focus on interventional radiology procedures with a vascular patient population
- Perform specialized nursing care during interventional, diagnostic, and therapeutic radiology procedures
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity vascular environment
- Must provide explanations for any gaps in work history of three months or more
- Testing modules and required training such as CPI will be assigned and must be completed
- Only AHA certifications are accepted for required life support credentials
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license with no disciplinary actions on file
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in interventional radiology
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications required and must not expire during the assignment
- Active NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required at time of consideration
- Completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training, which may be completed onsite
- Must be fully vaccinated for flu and COVID-19
- Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
