Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position working night shifts in a combination medical surgical unit, requiring a valid AR or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a combination Medical Surgical unit
• Hospital setting caring for a diverse adult medical and surgical patient population
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical and surgical patients
• Team-based work environment in a community hospital setting
• Specific testing, forms, and checklist requirements will be disclosed during onboarding
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position

Requirements

• Active AR or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• RQI certifications are not accepted
• Social Security number and date of birth are required for consideration
• COVID vaccination card required
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the assignment location
• Candidate may not be employed full time elsewhere
