Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a day-shift role requiring ARRT, BLS (AHA), and Siemens MRI experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital MRI department using highly technical MRI equipment
Shifts are 12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, on scheduled weekdays and some weekends
No holiday or call requirements
Patient screening, contrast administration, and use of Siemens MRI systems are required
Responsibilities include patient screening, positioning, contrast administration, and quality control of images
Preparation of exam records and images for radiologist review is expected
Team-based environment requires good communication with patients and staff
Maximum of 5 days of requested time off permitted
Local travelers can only complete one travel assignment

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years recent MRI experience required
Current ARRT and BLS (AHA) certifications required
Experience with Siemens MRI scanners required
Ability to administer IV and oral contrast safely and accurately
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not considered for this role
License required if applicable
