Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for varied shifts, requiring ARRT (MR) certification and experience with GE MRI systems.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital MRI department using GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment
• Approximately 9 patients per shift
• Shifts include Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM, plus one 8-hour shift during the week
• Possible call coverage required after midnight
• Will always work with another Tech Aide or MRI Technologist; never solo
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred
• Holiday coverage may be required
• RTO must be requested at the time of consideration; no more than 5 days allowed
• Orientation is 8 hours
• Must include work history, relevant skills checklist, and one supervisory signed reference from the past two years for consideration
• Team-based environment with technologist and aide support
• Holiday and overtime are paid at specified multipliers
• Travelers will not work independently on any shift

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• BLS (AHA) required
• Experience with GE MRI equipment required
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and take call as needed
• Must have own vehicle
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred
• License required if applicable
• Cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility
