Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with BLS certification and active MA licensure for a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient physical therapy setting
• Typical shift is 08:30 to 17:00
• 13-week contract assignment
• Uses Epic for charting and documentation
• Assist patients in regaining and maximizing physical performance and adjusting to disabilities
• Interpret evaluations and test results to develop treatment plans and administer therapeutic exercises
• Instruct, encourage, and assist patients in physical activities and use of assistive devices
• Parking may not be validated and could involve daily costs at some locations
• Timekeeping is managed via UKG/Kronos
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston; local pay is reduced by 5%

Requirements

• Active MA physical therapy license required; MA conditional licenses are not accepted
• BLS certification required; must be AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military
• No minimum years of experience required
• License required if applicable
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
