Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting, requiring Epic charting experience and an active MA license.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient physical therapy unit
• Work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
• 13-week assignment
• Requires proficiency with Epic EMR
• Main responsibilities include assessing patient function, interpreting evaluations and test results, setting treatment goals, and administering manual exercises
• Instruction and encouragement of patients in physical activities and use of assistive devices are expected
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital for standard travel pay eligibility
• Parking may not be provided at certain locations, with daily public parking costs applicable
• Uniform or scrub requirements not specified
• Timekeeping is managed via UKG/Kronos
• Proof of MA licensure is required at the time of consideration; no pending licenses allowed
• Flu vaccination is required during the season

Requirements

• Current, active MA physical therapy license required; MA conditional licenses not accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted; AHA preferred)
• License required if applicable
• No minimum years of experience required
• Proof of flu vaccination is mandatory with no religious or medical exemptions
